A few years ago, I set up a newsletter for another app I was working on. Truth be told, I’ve never actually posted anything to it. I keep telling myself I’ll start once I’ve pulled off the big revamp I’ve been dreaming about. So, here’s my assurance: I won’t spam you. I’ll only send something when there’s truly something to say—when laziness loses and inspiration wins.
Why a Newsletter?
Unlike traditional read-it-later apps that require account creation and server-based storage, DoubleMemory takes a different approach:
- We're offline-first with no user accounts
- Syncing happens through iCloud, managed by Apple
- We maintain zero direct user data
- Complete privacy by design
While we could automatically enroll users in email updates (that means we start taking your emails for no other reasons), we believe in giving you the choice. This newsletter is our opt-in channel for those who want to stay connected with DoubleMemory's journey.
